About Lucia

Lucia has been working with high school students to find the college that best fits each student for over 15 years. Originally a high school English teacher, Lucia became involved in college counseling and found her passion.

Lucía earned a BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from UMASS-Amherst, a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University and a law degree from the University of Puerto Rico. She has over 15 years of experience in education, including two years as an English and Psychology teacher at Colegio Puertorriqueña de Niñas (CPN), three years as College Counselor at Caribbean Preparatory Schools in San Juan and 10 years as High School Principal and Director of College Counseling at TASIS Dorado. Next year she will be embarking on a new adventure at Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola.
